D
D is for Doom.
Doom is the third most common element in the universe, immediately
following hydrogen and stupidity. These three elements naturally
combine to form the short-lived molecule HSD2, which is composed of one
atom of hydrogen, one atom of stupidity, and two atoms of doom.
This molecule is noted for its short half-life (less than one tenth of
a second) and the amount of energy released when it is annhilated (see CHERNOBYL).
The amount of energy released actually exceeds that predicted by
Einstein's equation E=MC^2, seemingly defying the laws of
physics. Most scientists currently dismiss this as an error in
calculation, but more and more are converting to the hypothesis that
stupidity contains some sort of 'hidden mass', and that the missing 90%
of the universe may indeed be stupid (see STUPIDITY.)
